Please come back to San Diego! We miss WU!
I just watched your new video on Reelin' In The Years...OMG you guys are so good! Thank you for this...made my week!
As a big fan of live music I can assure you that you won’t regret seeing Dr. Wu. Their energy, precision, and musicianship are perfection. Complex tunes delivered in a flawless fashion!
"You all put on a terrific show and were a pleasure to work with. I look forward to doing this again." ~ Scott Coe / Executive Director of TheaterFest Solvang
"Holiday greetings and best wishes for a fine show (performing the AJA Album @ Vibrato in January) from two WuTube fans in Troutdale, Oregon, who saw their first Steely Dan concert in April 1974. While we loved Fleetwood Mac in the '70s, we never forgave them for winning Album of the Year at the '78 Grammys over "Aja."
FABULOUS MUSICIANS! Thanks for bringing sunshine and happiness into our lives!
I tripped across your band on the internet. WOW! Eyes closed, you guys sound like The Dan! I have to come see you. Thanks for the great music.
WHAT A BAND! Your Vibrato show reminded me of Steely Dan shows back in the day...like the actual Steely Dan. So nice to hear all those great songs polished up to perfection. Thank you!
I'm a regular at Vitello's. I keep an eye on the calendar for you guys because every show my wife and I have seen has been amazing and, somehow, features a different repertoire. It's one thing to pull off the favorites, but grabbing stuff deep off a few of those albums we haven't heard in years like you do is something else. Keep up the great work guys - and come back to Vitello's. We love WU!
Wishing you all the best from Troutdale, Oregon (we're just a mile up the hill from McMenamins Edgefield outdoor amphitheater where we last saw Steely Dan in Aug. 2013). Wanted to tell you [Roch] that after seeing them for the first time in April 1974 at the U. of Toledo, the closest we came to a Steely Dan concert in the next 20 years was the first Mt. Hood Jazz Festival in Gresham, Oregon on Sat. Aug. 7, 1982. Your late-great bandmate Slyde Hyde was there with Chuck Findley, Chuck Rainey, Victor Feldman, Paul Humphrey, Ernie Watts and Jerome Richardson, performing Becker-Fagen compositions as The Hoops McCann Band. Producer Gary Katz was there as well that day. Oddly enough, the festival location at Mt. Hood Community College is just one mile south of of our Troutdale home.
